Intro to H20

Water is a special drink that we call H2O. You can see through it, and it doesn’t have a taste or smell. It’s almost clear. Water is a big part of our Earth and is inside all living things. Every plant and animal needs water to live, but it doesn’t have the energy that we get from eating food in it. Water can mix with lots of things, which is why some people call it “the universal mixer.” Water can be solid like ice, liquid like the water we drink, or gas like steam when it gets hot. Water helps with the weather and helps plants grow and animals live. It’s very important for everything on Earth.
